Boğaziçi ID-TS graduate event featured in EST newsletter

 

The November issue of the European Society for Translation Studies (EST) newsletter featured an write-up of the 3rd ID-TS Graduate Event, organized by graduate students of the Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies at Boğaziçi University. You can read the newsletter here.

 

Held virtually over Zoom due to COVID-19 restrictions, the ID-TS graduate event was organized around the theme “(Hi)stories of Translation and Translators: Past, Present and Future” and featured keynote speeches by Prof. Lieven D’hulst (Writing Histories of Translation: What About the Present and

the Future?) and Prof. Jacob Blakesley (The Gender of Translators: A Case Study of Dante’s Divine Comedy).

 

The event was a great success and we would like to congratulate and thank the organizing committee for all their hard work.
